Current Opportunities
Disability Support Workers – Expressions of Interest
We are currently welcoming expressions of interest from Disability Support Workers across Melbourne, particularly in:
- Melton
- Sunbury
- Diggers Rest
- St Albans
- Watergardens
- Surrounding western and northern suburbs
Opportunities in other Melbourne areas may also become available depending on participant needs.
Your Responsibilities May Include:
- Personal care and daily living assistance
- Community access and social participation
- Transport to appointments and activities
- Meal preparation and household assistance
- Supporting participants to work towards their individual goals
- Completing accurate progress notes and reporting concerns
- Medication assistance or manual handling, where appropriately trained and authorised

We are looking for people who are:

- Person-centred and supportive of participant choice and control
- Able to maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality
- Confident working independently and communicating with families and the Care In Home team
- Respectful of different cultures, identities and lifestyles
Essential Requirements
Depending on the role, applicants may need:
- The right to work in Australia
- A current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module certificate
- A current National Police Check
- Current First Aid and CPR certificates
- Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability, Community Services or a related field
- A valid Australian driver licence
- Access to a reliable and appropriately insured vehicle
- The ability to complete digital progress notes
- Any qualifications or certificates required for the participant’s support needs
Some opportunities may be offered as genuine independent contractor engagements. Applicants for contractor roles may be required to hold an active ABN and appropriate insurance. The engagement arrangement and responsibilities will be clearly explained before onboarding.
